Bill is an expert in the construction industry with over 35 years of experience leading and facilitating a customer centric approach to construction. Bill ensures operations are handled with integrity and fairness while promoting a passionate culture of safety and service and he leads by this example. His familiarity with the Indianapolis construction market and business climate are a vital asset to the Company.
Prior to joining Compass, Bill was President and CEO of Pepper Construction Group, a Chicago-based contractor with revenues exceeding $1 billion dollars and over 1,500 employees. Bill completed his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Illinois and received his Masters of Management degree from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Bill and his wife Moriag reside on the northeast side of Indianapolis and when they are not visiting one of their four boys they continue to support several civic groups in the community. Bill holds current board positions with the Eskenazi Health Foundation and Fifth Third Bank (Central Indiana). He is also the founding president of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis, a past vice president of Crossroads Council of Boy Scouts of America, and a past chair of Indiana Construction Roundtable Diversity Initiative. Bill loves to sail and also makes sure that each winter includes at least two trips out west to ski with friends.
