NHK Seating

NHK Seating Holding Company is a fully integrated manufacturing facility producing automotive seating for the Subaru plant in Lafayette, IN. This includes metal stamping, fabrication and welding of seat frames as well as foam and trim covers for finished product. Compass worked with NHK on the front end to design a facility around their process which was established prior to design. We took the time to understand their process, toured their facility and listened to key goals for the new building and address any challenges with their existing facility. Throughout the construction process, we consistently met with the client and incorporated any changes or additional needs in an efficient and fluid manner.
