Compass

This project didn’t take hammers and nails, but we’ve poured a whole lot of work into evolving our brand and building a new website for Compass. For months we’ve been dreaming and developing a brand that better fits who we have come to be as a company and team. 

We’re thrilled to share our new look, messaging, and website with you this week for the very first time! While we were founded in 2010, Compass has seen tremendous growth since 2017 and we’ve been fortunate to get to work with some amazing clients and partners. And we’ve watched our own Compass team grow into one that is grounded in our CARES core values and dedicated to delighting our clients. Our existing brand was getting the job done, but wasn’t a very accurate reflection of the Compass we’ve evolved into. 

So we enlisted the help of some outside consultants (Ryan Hunley of Second Street Creative and Jen Petro of DropLeaf Communications) and dove headfirst into the process of evolving our brand and creating messaging that shares who we are and what we care about. Our goal was not to just create a new logo or add fancy words for the sake of putting a little polish on the brand. We deeply desired a thoughtful brand evolution that included an alignment of our marketing and communications with our values and strengths. 

We bring our A game to the field day in and day out. And we want our communications to be the best they can be, too — clear, professional, helpful, and relevant. As part of this process, we defined core brand personality pillars and key messaging that will help us tell the authentic Compass story with clarity and passion. And our new brand aesthetic proudly displays the confidence, approachability, and integrity that we try to bring to everything we say and do at Compass. The evolved brand honors the trustworthy expertise that has driven the growth of Compass while still paying attention to nuance and detail. Our team could not be more excited to share this with you! And as we continue to grow as a company, we know this new brand will grow right alongside us. Keep your eyes out for new Compass signage, social media updates, and maybe even a few surprise giveaways to come.
