The Patachou restaurant brands are some of the most recognizable in Indianapolis. In order to increase seating capacity and offer outdoor dining for its patrons in Carmel, moving to a new location provided Café Patachou with the best option. Compass worked closely with Rowland Design to provide a quality experience for the owner using a design concept that met Patachou’s desire to create a classy, yet comfortable, restaurant space for its customers. The project included the demolition and renovation of a former bank building. The exterior drive thru lane was converted into outdoor seating which includes crushed granite, custom metal railings and wood planters. The Café’s indoor space has a high-end, modern feel, provides a very pleasant environment for its diverse clientele, and is a great example of the successful re-use of existing real estate.
